The DAVx⁵ app synchronizes both calendar and contacts.

Automatic Installation

1. Install the Nextcloud app for Android.
2. Open the Settings of the Nextcloud app.
3. Choose “Sync calendar & contacts”.
4. DAVx⁵ will open with
   • pre-filled URL/user name, or
   • Nextcloud Login Flow (requires Nextcloud app 3.9.0+ and DAVx⁵ 2.6+).
5. Base URL: https://cloud.proxcloud.nl/remote.php/dav
6. Contact group method: groups are per-contact categories
7. User name and password: Proxcloud app password.

Manual Installation

1. Download the DAVx⁵ app on your smartphone / tablet via the Google Play Store or F-Droid.
2. Open the DAVx⁵ app.
3. You can choose to directly install the OpenTasks app when prompted in the DAVx⁵ app. With the OpenTasks app you can also synchronize tasks in the future.
4. You may get a popup saying that system-wide synchronization is disabled. In that notification, press Enable. Then press the orange plus at the bottom right of the screen.
5. Select “Login with URL and username” when prompted.
6. Enter the following credentials:
   1. URL: https://cloud.proxcloud.nl/remote.php/dav/
   2. Username: Your username
   3. Password: an App password generated using this manual
7. Now enter a account name and select Groups are per-contact categories
8. Press finish.
