- In the checkout process, run a availability check for the Username custom field. If the username is available, continue to the next step. Otherwise, show an error message or automatically switch to a username based on the clients first and last names.

- Implement php-curl-class instead of clean PHP cURL. This cURL library is only deployed if the performance of the module is significantly improved after implementing and testing with the php-curl-class.
